Great pub serving food and drink. Can get very busy if the weather is good as they have a huge beer garden. Family friendly and evening entertainment at weekends.

A wonderful but hilly walk (about 5 miles) to the pub in Chelmorton. Great food and beer. Friendly staff. The walk starts along the Monsal trail towards Buxton (past Millers Dale station) then heads South along the Pennine Bridleway and the Limestone way to Chelmorton. Lots of history and glorious scenery as part of a big day out. (Or drive out for a great lunch/ evening meal). Highest Church, historic water systems, ancient burial chamber. Beautiful and memorable walk.

Fab little pub in the village of Chelmorton - about 40 minute walk from the cottage (over Taddington Moor). Which will work up your appetite for some hearty homemade pub food. Monday night is quiz (and bingo!) night which is great fun and the beer garden is lovely on a summers evening
