Devil's Postpile is a must see for anyone visiting the Mammoth Lakes area! It is a short walk from the Devil's Postpile Ranger Station to the site, which makes it a great outing for families with kids. There is even a Jr Ranger program. You can pick up the booklet at the Ranger Station and be sworn in as a Jr Ranger!

Beautiful trails and there are also some waterfalls nearby in addition to the cool rock formations.

Short hike to very cool and interesting geological formation. Only open during summer. Can drive and park or access via the Reds Meadow shuttle from the Adventure Center at the Main Lodge. If you want a longer hike keep going to Rainbow Falls.
