I love Emerald Lake! There is a reason it's called "emerald" too! The silt from the glacier that was once there creates the deep bluish-green colour in the lake. There is a lodge there as well where you can have lunch or dinner and a bar to have a drink. I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. Also check out the natural bridge on the road up to Emerald Lake.

Beautiful day trip for nordic skiing or snowshoeing in the winter or hiking in the summer.

a hidden gem with a generally flat 5km hike around the perimeter of the lake. In summer you can rent a canoe. For winter guests there is cross country skiing and hiking. be sure to check out the lodge for dining and beverages
