Night time walks around the harbour and often markets or community events are held here. Of course New Year etc. the fireworks are always beautiful over the water. See the latest in our info pack on arrival.

You can’t head to Coffs Harbour and not visit some of the beautiful beaches in the area. Even during the winter months, the water stays warm enough for swimming, if you’re brave. Just north of the marina in Coffs Harbour, look for the beach marked “Park Beach South Dog Beach” on Google. There’s plenty of parking, plus it’s great to combine with a visit to the jetty and perhaps coffee from Salute Jetty.

The Coffs Harbour coastline stretches over more than 60 kilometres featuring a total of 32 beaches from Bonville in the south to Red Rock in the north. Many of our beaches are ideal for surfing while others are more protected or patrolled and better suited for swimming, snorkeling or diving. With the growing popularity of other sports, such as personal watercraft (Jet Skis) and Kite Surfing, users should check local and state legislation to ensure that they may use the area intended. Users of these types of craft should also be mindful of other beach users regarding the impact of noise, danger from craft themselves and in particular, their own safety. Information on our patrolled beaches Information on beaches patrolled in the Coffs Harbour LGA, including patrol times can be found here. Education programs The Lifeguard Service runs regular education programs for schools, community groups and clubs. You can find out more about the programs that we offer and make a booking by calling 0428 285 073. Connect Online Visit the Lifeguard Team's Facebook page or follow them on Twitter for the latest updates on beach conditions as well as tips on keeping safe around the water.
