This is the iconic lighthouse of Genoa. It's the main symbol of Genoa. It's the oldest lighthouse of Europe (3rd in the world) and the 2nd tallest in Europe (5th in the world).

The symbol of Genoa.The 172 stairs can be climbed up to the first observation terrace for superb views of the harbour and historic centre. there is a multimedia museum, where visitors can choose their own itinerary (history, art, material culture and traditions of life in the city and province) . The walk that leads to the Lighthouse is a pedestrian path of about 800 metres, starting out near the Ferry Terminal. For information on prices and schedules, please visit the organisation's website.
