Another irish pub, I used to live right above it. Darker and and more swarthy than Dymphnas, but might be just the thing if you're in the mood.

Right downstairs, The Scratcher is a great place to grab a quick drink and see some live music on the weekends.

East Village local where the bartenders pour the Guinness correctly. There's live music on Sunday nights.
