A fantastic place to either walk (or cycle) to along the Meon Valley Trail or drive to! Really lovely up here, but dogs need to be on a lead.
Take in the far reaching views across the Meon Valley and beyond. A mobile coffee wagon can be found at the top of the hill at popular times. Perhaps plan a walk or just drive and admire the views before visiting the pretty pubs in Exton, Meonstoke and Droxford
If you want a fabulous walk, Old Winchester Hill is a great choice. The hill is made of chalk and is surmounted by an Iron Age hill fort and a Bronze Age cemetery. It's a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a National Nature Reserve. The hill fort has never been fully excavated. To reach it, just follow Peake New Road to the end where the farm/Pony Club is and take the footpath to the right. Stunning views. Great for blackberry picking in the Autumn too!
