There a number of great hiking trails accessible from this school parking lot! I particularly like the Yolanda Trail!

10 minute walk or 3 minute drive from your stay is a great trailhead to walk or bike. Usually plenty of parking, you walk around the school and quickly will have many options for trails, all are great!

Great trails stemming from behind Deer Park School at the end of Porteous Ave. Hike on through the Marin Municipal Watershed all the way to the top of Mount Tamalpais. Great loops as well.
