Bear Creek Pioneers Park and Zoo is in the middle of Bear Creek Park (just a few miles from Downtown Katy, TX) is a hidden gem helping rescued and rehabilitated animals, including owls, parrots, goats, emus, deer, and sheep. My absolute favorite park in Houston. Gigantic, grassy fields. Good for families and individuals- like myself, who like to sit and read in nature.

This is a HUGE county park with a war memorial, mini zoo, soccer fields, hiking trails, jogging track, picnic areas, pavilions available.
