A Melbourne institution since the early 1950's when Pellegrini's purportedly brought the first espresso machine to Melbourne. Relaxed, original 1950's cafe vibe with honest Italian fare till late. Checkered vinyl floors, faded photos from all those years ago, and red vinyl stools create a comfortable atmosphere where locals and tourists mingle and chat. Look out for my favourite picture - kangaroos on the beach!
