Learn to paddle board whilst in Stroud with ‘SUP Stroud’. Paddle board instruction on the Slimbridge Canal (slimbridge is a 20-25 min drive from Stroud).

Having undergone a huge restoration project you can now walk, run, cycle and enjoy water pursuits on our local canal system. . A good family cycle is to start in Stroud and cycle to Lavender Bakehouse in Chalford for tea and delicious cake! Go to the website to find out more.

This is the information centre for the Cotswold canal that once linked the Thames with the Severn. Well worth a visit, lots of info about great days out and walks. Visit the Lock cafe, sweet!

The canal is currently under restoration but well worth a walk. You can get right out to Stonehouse going west, or Brimscombe going east. There is also a lovely cafe at Wallbridge "Upper Lock Cafe" to have a pit-stop.

Lovely little cafe right next to the canal within walking distance of the bungalow. You can then walk along the canal to see the beautiful wildlife .
