This is a view of Mt St. Helens from the East side. It has been 40 years since the Volcano blew. Along this drive were some of the best views of trees blown down all laying in the same direction and yet the back of those hillsides were still green. It is about 65 miles from Ethel House. Allow yourself 3 hours to drive to the top.

This is about a 2.5 hour drive from us but it is one of the best spots to see Mt Saint Helens.

Explore the blast zone from the famous Mt Saint Helens eruption from 1980. Parts of the area are frozen in time while others are in full regrowth. The landscape is stunning. Insider tip- this access point accessible by car in the summer, but has snow mobile access in the winter months.
