For those who prefer to do more exciting things than washing and drying their clothes there is a launderette in Chapel Allerton called the Laundry Room. It is about a 10 minute walk to get to or five minutes by car and open most days until 7 PM. You don't have to watch your own washing spin round as the staff there will keep an eye on it for you and you can pick it up later on. The last time I looked it was £2.80 for a normal wash, £4.80 for a large one, and lots of dryers. There's also a dry cleaning and service wash service.
