I had surf lessons here when we first moved to Devon, they’re so friendly and offer lots of lessons and hire of boards and wetsuits etc.

We love this surf school. Really friendly stall, great teachers and beautiful beach to surf on. All equipment and tuition is included in the class price. We recommend booking a batch of classes to really deepen your learning for a cheaper price overall. Alternatively you can just hire wetsuits, surf boards, body boards etc and go and have fun by yourself. Even if its cold on land it will often be warmer in the sea - especially with your snug wetsuit. Warmest times in the sea are September through to November. Coldest times in the sea are March /April.
