Revel in the diverse eco-systems along rugged terrain or breathe fresh air from mountain top vistas overlooking pristine Appalachian forests at Black Rock Mountain, uniquely positioned on the Eastern Continental Divide and reaching altitudes of 3,640 feet as the highest State Park in Georgia.
Black Rock Mountain State Park is about 15 min away. The Lake Trail is super easy and flat if you need something without much incline. The Ada-Hi Falls is short but very steep (like staircase style for a good chunk of it) with a pretty waterfall. And the Tennessee Rock Trail has some really beautiful views from the top. If you’re into Appalachian culture and food check out Foxfire while you’re up there. Google Foxfire Heritage before you go to really appreciate the legacy of it if you aren't familiar.
