What remains/was unearthed of the Lumpkin's Slave Jail (which was then converted into one of the first Black schools in Virginia, the precursor to Virginia Union University). This is Richmond history.

Where the original jail was located, and proposed site of Lumpkin's Slave Jail museum. The area is where major slave trading for the US took place & where Solomon Northup (12 Years a Slave) was sold.
