Commons Ford Park , located at 614 N Commons Ford Rd , a 5 minute drive away , is a very large park with wide open spaces next to the Colorado River. You can picnic , swim, fish , play volleyball or run or walk the miles of trails under mature trees, The native prairie grasslands have been restored and it is a very popular Audubon bird watching site. Endangered and hard to find birds are often spotted here . If there has been recent rain you can hike up to the waterfalls on the north side of the park .
