Not cheap but this modern box-like restaurant has been built on, yes ON, an old railway bridge near the harbour. Seasonal French & Italian inspired dishes. Special 3, 4 & 5 course menus.

Café Restaurant Hoogendam – nice place for a cup of good coffee and food (breakfast). Have a lovely terrace to enjoy a good day. Westerdoksplein 10, 1013 AZ Amsterdam (15 min walk).
