You have to pop into Little Creatures if you're visiting Fremantle. Huge seating areas (indoors/outdoors], right on the water. Great beer and cider collection and plenty of action to linger or just to grab a cheeky pint.
A Fremantle icon. It’s not just the beer brewed on the premises that makes it special. The staff, the atmosphere and the best Chili mussels. Sit in the garden and marvel at the replica of the 17th century Duyfken replica moored a few metres away.
Fremantle- Welcoming visitors from far and wide every day. Grab a Pale Ale & a pizza and soak in the brewery atmosphere or wander out into the backyard and enjoy your beer and nosh in the sunshine. Walk in anytime without a booking. (Monday and Tuesday closed, open all other days).
Well located on the harbour water side. Excellent choice of locally brewed beers. Good food.
Love this place! Great beer, chilled environment and a huge sand pit for the kids

“Fremantle Prison, sometimes referred to as Fremantle Gaol or Fremantle Jail, is a former Australian prison and World Heritage Site in Fremantle, Western Australia. The six-hectare (15-acre) site includes the prison cellblocks, gatehouse, perimeter walls, cottages, and tunnels. It was initially used for convicts transported from Britain, but was transferred to the colonial government in 1886 for use for locally-sentenced prisoners. ”

“There is a beautiful little beach underneath where you can swim safely too. Fremantle is a GREAT place to walk around. FREE Aboriginal art teaching (usually only on Saturdays, and in Aboriginal or Indigenous Art Galleries in Perth and Fremantle and in the Swan Valley). There is no cover charge and some of the art is very affordable. Best kind of mementos.”
