Chapel Arts Centre is great for live music - lots of tribute bands, burlesque, & folk. Tickets (often available at the door) range from £10 to £20.

A lovely little cafe just down the steps by the Chapel Arts Centre (near M&S). Vegetarian food served there and the most delicious cakes. A great place for a quick lunch and very inexpensive.

Really lovely vegetarian food - and lots of it. Out the way and slightly alternative - the cakes and puddings are out of this world. Worth checking out if you want to get off the beaten track.
