Not a close as Mirai, but cheaper and more casual Japanese BYOB spot with a modern menu of maki, sashimi & more plus a few cooked dishes. About 5 blocks east of apt.

Michelin-rated and right down the street. Awesome maki and sushi, BYOB, perfect for takeout. It's VERY good - and affordable. Highly recommended.

In my humble opinion, the best sushi in the 'hood--and perhaps the whole city. Bonus: it's BYO.

Amazing signature sushi rolls to make your mouth water in delight. Right on the corner, 1/2 block away. Make sure you pick up a bottle of sake, wine or beers to take with you. BYOB
