El Techo is a San Francisco rarity: a rooftop bar. I love coming here for chips, guacamole, and a pitcher of margaritas. You also get amazing views of the city, which is always a plus. There are lots of communal high tops, so it’s great for groups. The kitchen serves till 11 on Fridays and Saturdays. Choose a bunch of plates to share with the table since they’re small portions.

The only rooftop bar in SF with 360º views of the city. Lively scene. Younger crowd. Great cocktails and appetizers (Mexican Street food), usually a line, especially on warm, sunny days.
