SITTING MONK STATUTE Located in Bophut, not far from Fisherman's Village, this impressive Buddhist monument was recently built within Wat Boputtaram. Ebony-colour, this sculpture represents a very famous monk in Thailand, sitting on a vast base in the shape of a boat. The peculiarity of this place is that you can get inside the statue and walk on the deck of the ship via a staircase that leads to the upper floor.
