“This museum has it all – a dinosaur hall, planetarium, IMAX theater, and butterfly exhibit. I’ve always enjoyed the gemstone collection. Parking can be a nightmare since the zoo is close-by. I’d Uber there instead.”

“We have an amazing zoo here in Houston and if you are coming with family I recommend checking it out. There is also a little place to rent paddle boats for pretty cheap right outside the zoo. ”

“Houston's pride and joy. The museum is huge- you can spend 2 hours or 2 days in this sprawling campus. Historical artifacts, contemporary collections, and innovative installations are all here. Make sure to check out the recently opened Kinder building across the street from the main compound and the psychedelic underground tunnels. Walk, bike, drive, or hop on the Metro rail from this host's house! Local tip: There's free admission on Thursdays!”
