While it takes a while to get out there from Bozeman/Belgrade, Beartooth Highway is considered one of the most beautiful drives in America. If you have a day, this is one you don't want to miss. And, it drops you off right by the North Entrance of Yellowstone!

Without a doubt, one of the most scenic and dramatic roads in the US. If your in this part of Montana after Memorial Day (when it opens), this is a must do driving trip from Red Lodge to the northeast entrance of YNP. You will climb to just under 11,000 feet . Lakes , waterfalls, mountain goats and lots of snow. Very safe road. No time to go the entire hour to Yellowstone? - make sure you go to at least the West Summit (the highest point)

This national scenic byway is one you don't want to miss! You'll enjoy absolutely stunning views, beautiful wildflowers, and if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of mountain goats and other wildlife along the way!
