Amazing views from the top of the Chief. Tough hike, and busy on weekends, but does not disappoint!

The Chief, so called because its shape resembles that of an Indigenous Chief's face when seen from a distance, is famous for its views! There are three peaks, each with a more magnificent view than the last. In addition, taking the Sea to Sky Highway to get there is part of the breath-taking experience, as this stretch of road follows the coast the entire way there. Be warned, this is a very challenging hike and includes segments where one must use a chains secured to giant rock cliffs to climb to the next bit, but it is so worth it! It's about 40 mins to get there by car, which is currently the only way to reach The Chief.

Graduated from the small Quarry Rock hike? Challenge yourself even further through the woods and climb a steeper mountain.
