WHISKEY ANYONE? Malt and Juniper is the sister venue of Alfred’s Bar, owned by the same person but this new bar has a heavy focus on spirits. With a wide variety of whiskey stowed in the back bar arranged geographically, it gives drinkers ample choice – or maybe too much? There are also your classics but the one we love is the Japanese whiskey that is worth $200 a shot; that’d be the Yamazaki 18-year-old Mizunara cask which we highly recommend trying at least once if it is in your price range. Their cocktails are seasonal with a lovely mix of fruits and herbs but their main avenue is whiskey and gin if you’re into that sort of stuff!
