Our Saviour's is one of Denmark's most famous churches. Ever since the serpentine spire was inaugurated in 1752, is has been a popular passtime to climb the 400 steps to the top.
Nice old church with a wonderful carillon playing old and modern music during the day. Take a tour up in and outside the tower and enjoy the view of Copenhagen and Amager
Baroque church which was constructed in the late 17th century. Famous for its golden spire which will give you a great view of the city. The only way up that spire is outdoor stairs so not something recommended to those afraid of heights.
You can climb on the top of this church. just magical to discover Copenhagen from this point of view.

“Copenhagen’s Hippie “Free Town”- a community that has its own rules and regulations completely independent of the Danish government. Christiania has been famous for many years thanks to the permanent stalls along Pusher Street—or ‘The Green Light District’, as it was once known—that sold all types of cannabis (illegal elsewhere in Denmark)”

“Expensive but good. The first of many stores, that now is all over Denmark. Try one of the many traditionel “Danish wiernerbrød” or a Christianshavnertærte! The chokorug is also my favorite.”
