One of Prineville's most-loved spots, this park has it all! There is a walking / running / biking / urban hiking trail, picnic tables, a wooden bridge, a great creek to play in and even a large wooden play and activity structure for the kids. This is the place to be if you are looking for several city blocks of green grass, a place to have a picnic, a place to take the kids or a place to walk the dog. In addition, the park itself is surrounded by other, more specific parks, like a bike park, a picnic / event park, basketball courts, tennis courts, a skate park and the local pool. With such a menagerie of options, you'll never get bored here!

Two parks run end to end one block north of the highway (Striker and Ochoco). There is a beautiful walking path along Ochoco Creek on the north side of these parks. You'll see the city and county have invested in some wonderful youth spaces and historic amenties. Walking is good ---
