Situated at the highest point of Stornoway this memorial is dedicated to the men who lost their lives in World War 1. The memorial can be seen from the kitchen window and the back bedroom of our property. It is a short drive or leisurely walk away from the property. If driving you will need to park your car in the residential areas of either Memorial Avenue or Stewart Drive (depending which way you go) and then take the short walk up the path to the Memorial. You get lovely views of Stornoway and surrounding areas from here.
