Pier 2 at Brooklyn Bridge draws players from the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan. There are seven full courts, Manhattan views, and all levels of comp. There are actual nets—I love the snap when my shot goes in. It’s a great place to spend the day, packed on weekends and after 5 during the week. Also, tons of makeshift cabins selling all types of food. The A and B courts, where the best talent goes, have canopies over them so you can keep playing if it drizzles. But if there’s a lot of rain, the water’s going to run onto the court.
This urban oasis features shaded picnic tables, hibachi-style BBQ grills & river views. Brooklyn Bridge Park is a world-class waterfront park with rolling hills, riverfront promenades, lush gardens, and spectacular city views. Our list of amenities continues to grow each day.
My personal favorite spot. Provides incredible views of Manhattan. skyline, as well as Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.
Brooklyn Bridge Park has fantastic activities for your entire family or group of friends and breathtaking scenery of the Atlantic Ocean, Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, The Freedom Towers, The Empire State Building, and the Brooklyn Bridge ~ all from the boardwalk in plane view...

“Brooklyn's flagship park less than a 20 minute ride away. Get greenery in the middle of Brooklyn, NY. Truly a mesmerizing experience to ride the bike paths with all of NYC cyclists, bladers and runners. Big open spaces and lovely paths for activities like baseball, volleyball, hiking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, birdwatching and much more!”

“Fabulous park with monuments, tennis courts, and kid's playgrounds (x2!), and also close to many excellent restaurants on Dekalb Ave. A great place to relax and people-watch. Check out the Farmer's Market every Saturday along the park's east side.”
