Kulturen is a museum that is partly open-air and it was founded in 1892 by the local historian Georg Karlin. Georg Karlin saw the old farming society disappearing and wanted to preserve its buildings, together with tools, furniture and clothes of the time. Karlin also rescued objects from the medieval period in Lund.
