Perth's home of the contemporary arts - located in a heritage building that was once an old boys school, the central vaulted hall often hosts really interesting installations, sculptures and video works. Theres a performance space in the building as well.

A great collection of more obtuse artists exhibit here. It is right next to the art gallery of WA in Northbridges cultural precinct. This may seem counter intuitive depending on the time of your visit to the area.

Located in a heritage building in the Perth Cultural Centre - Art exhibitions, installations, contemporary dance, theatre and performances all take place here. To find out what's on, head to www.pica.org.au.

I really like this place. It has weird and wonderful exhibits of the latest contemporary art pieces by local and international designers. Entry is free too!
