They roast their own coffee. Owner lets you sit there and enjoy the space without constantly trying to move you on. For that same reason, it's always difficult to get a seat there. Try a weekday about 11, you should be fine. Absolutely the best coffee shop in my book, both for the price and taste and ambiance.
