The second best sandy beach at Cannes

If you stay in Cannes, this is a good beach to go. Starting from here it's all public and with great views on the Esterel mountains. (That's because the Croisette itself is full of private beaches but if you still want to swim there, I advice you to go to the eastern end of it, the opposite side to the Palais des Festivals. It has a large public beach.)

en voiture ou bus/ by car or bus - plages publiques agréables en fin de journée, avec le coucher de soleil en sus!! - Publi beaches, very nice for the end of afternoon to watch the sunset !!
