A Tampa must do been here since 1970. Great food with an old fashion diner feel. Very clean , friendly and delicious.

Mel's Hot Dogs has been family-owned and operated since it opened back on July 3rd, 1973. The restaurant is located next door to Busch Gardens, on the corner of Busch Boulevard and 42nd Street.

If your in the mood to grab a quick bite, and just relax Mel's is the place. My favorite spot to grab a hot dog that is cooked to order and comes in many different ways or toppings. Always a friendly staff, and if you want to enjoy a bottle of beer they have that as well.
