Great starting point for any walk or cycle in the area. With plenty of different routes. Whether it is a circular walk around the reservoirs or up in the hills.

The Longdendale Trail is a long walk along an old railway line starting in Hadfield and ending at Woodhead tunnel.

If you have a bike this is a great little trail, it's also a lovely walk or run, although it's a very straight and flat path.
