Battery Point lighthouse in Crescent City is one of the oldest lighthouses on the California Coast. It’s unique island spot located at 235 Lighthouse Way in Crescent City makes for an adventurous visit. The Lighthouse is assessable to the public during low tide. During the summer it is open daily for tours from 10am - 4 pm but only on weekends from October to March. The lighthouse & it’s museum are operated by the Del Norte County Historical Society.

Battery Point Lighthouse is a must see, a unique historic sight that offers sights of the ocean and harbor. Tours of the lighthouse are available. Access is by walking across the tidal zone, it can be a bit wet and is rocky. You must watch the tide as the lighthouse can be cut off from shore.
