Lake Washington is a nice destination to watch the sunrise over the mountains and the city of Bellevue. There is a nice path by the water where you can go for a stroll, run, or bike ride. At the end of the pathway, you’ll find a few restaurants, bars, and a local grocery shop with lots of goodies…
For Runners. Run north on Seward Park Ave S until It turns down a steep hill. Follow it all the way down and then take a right on S Juneau (short and steep) until you hit Lake Washington Blvd at Seward Park itself. Go left and follow Lake Washington Blvd around until you come to 50th Ave S. Left…
Great walking loops, scenery year round. You may also enjoy walking under I-90 and then across the I-90 bridge to Mercer island park and Jewish Community Center.
Lake Washington is beautiful in the summer and you can access it at various locations. Some places rent jet skis, boats, or kayaks. It's definitely an awesome summer activity in the summer.
The second largest lake in the state, Lake Washington is another one of our favorite places to walk, picnic, dine at the restaurants on Leschi or just take in the view. The drive is 10 minutes west from our Airbnb location.
