Jah Izakaya & Sake Bar expands the culinary horizon in Copenhagen to include genuine Japanese izakaya cuisine. Jah Izakaya & Sake Bar is also Copenhagen's first real sake bar, with a wide selection of both classic sake, as well as the more wild and unfiltered "nature matters". At Jah, the Japanese kitchen team introduces authentic and classic izakaya dishes, but also local seasonal menus built on Japanese techniques, with the best local produce from organic and biodynamic farming and farms, as well as the best local and fair-caught fish and shellfish on the market, as organic and free range meat and poultry and what else is in season. Traditionally, the izakaya kitchen, a little popularly said, is the Japanese answer to tapas, or bar food if you want. It consists of relatively simple dishes served with sake, beer and in Jah's case, natural wine in abundant quantities.

My favourite Japanese restaurant in town! Beautiful food, you may have to wait or book in advance as it gets very busy.. but I think it’s worth it

Organic and free ranged meat + vegan option Japanese food. I didnt try the restaurant myself yet ... but it looks great.

Local izakaya with Japanese, budget-friendly food. They have their own beer, which is kind of amazing.
