Take the ferry trip over from Paynesville starting from the Esplanade in the main part of town. The ferry ride is free for pedestrians and cyclists. The trip takes less than 5 minutes. At Raymond Island there is an information area where you can get a booklet about the island for a $2 donation. The suggested route to take is the 'koala trail' which will provide you ample opportunities to view lots of koalas during your walk. Make sure to take mosquito repellent as well as some water and snacks as there are no shops on the Island.
