When German immigrants flocked to Milwakee in the late 1800s, they brought with them some fantastic traditions, one of them being a love for beer gardens. The city has kept this tradition alive, with many several gardens throughout the city. The one in Hubbard Park is our personal favorite, as it's wooded and right on the Milwaukee river. We like to get there via a 14 minute bike ride, which mostly follows the Oak Leaf Trail (city bike path).
