This fortification is built a top of a man made earth mound in the centre of town. Climb the stairs to the building and then to the top level for awesome views of Leiden and many of its monuments.

A fortification with its history starting around the year 1100. Very good view point of the whole city, great for taking photos and relaxing on the lounge chairs by the grass..
