26 km of newly paved road biking trail connecting Fairmont to Invermere. Many locations to park your vehicle if you are not in the mood to bike the entire trail.

One of the reasons we chose Fairmont was the Legacy trail on the west side of the river/ lake. This pin is for the northern end. The southern end of the trail is accessible from our suite. Just ride out to the resort entrance and turn right on the highway and continue on to Westside Road onto which you turn right. Cross the cattle guard and pretty soon you'll see the trail crossing the road, at which point you can jump on it and continue on to Invermere :)

A superb paved trail running along the westside of the lake and goes all the way to Fairmont. Walking, running, biking all ok.
