This is way more than a gift shop! If you’ve seen the beautiful National Parks posters with those awesome illustrations, you’ve seen the work of Joel Anderson. Joel and I have been friends since we both worked in the music business in the 80s, and the two autographed and framed posters in our dining area are his work. Joel was always a crazy talented illustrator, and now he is one of the most iconic visual artists of our time. The Spirit of Nashville gift ship is now his home base; he works upstairs and prints posters downstairs. With over 1000 works of art to pick from, you can’t go wrong picking up one (or more) of his astounding pieces on your visit to Nashville. If you’re lucky, Joel will be there and sign your posters! Tell him I said hello!
