Lostwithiel train station is in the centre of town and very easy to commute to from London, Bristol and Penzance.

A lively town were independent shops flourish, butcher, baker, delicatessen, hardware, antique & gift, restaurants & produce markets. The antique trade is highlighted with Jeffrey's fortnightly Thursday auctions. The Lostwithiel Antiques Centre is open every day. Lostwithiel is reknown for festivals: March -Beer, May -Lostfest culture, June -Gin, July-Carnival, August -song, September -Cider & Produce, December -Dickensian.
