Old classic. Svarta kaffið serves soup. And only soup. And it´s the best soup in town. Served in a bread bun. Sometimes is just good to find that one thing you excell at and keep to that. And they did just that.

Svarta kaffid "the black cafe" is located in a little black painted traditional Icelandic style house along Laugavegur, Reykjavik's Main Street. It provides a great atmosphere and is know for amazing soups in bread bowls. During Christmas they often have 'reindeer soup'...truly one not to be missed.
