Don't miss this step back in time. The entire loop can be driven, but on Wednesday and Saturday mornings they close the 11 mile stretch to traffic and cater to those who wish to walk or bike.
12 miles scenic loop with historic 1700's settlement, structures and wildlife viewing. Recommend stopping by the Sugarland Vister Center in the National Park on your way to Cades Cove area.
Stop at the visitors center in Cades Cove and take a walk through time. This is where the restrooms are located as you drive around the 11 mile loop. Also, you can do a small walk to explore an old mill, houses, and barns. Turkey and deer seem to be in the fields everytime we go.
