Developing a dedicated following, people come from all over to grab some Burnt Honey offerings. If you want to take your time, order coffees and eat close by. Otherwise, purchase baked goods and don't wait for coffee. Burnt Honey is part of the slow food movement.

You can walk along the beach to this Bakery at Copacababa, Tget have organic bread, delcious treats and great coffee.

Only one year old but we can't imagine life on the coast without Hayley and Jo and their amazing bread and pastries, cookies and cakes. Always something new to try, fantastic coffee and grab a jar of sticky chai or kourabiedes as a souvenir or gift to make your friends jealous. Worth getting out of bed early for, especially on weekends and holidays as they sell out fast, be prepared to queue.

Bakery worth the drive to Copacabana. But you need to be there early to avoid disappointment as most goodies are sold out by lunch time. Russian Honey cake is to die for! This artisanal business beside Copacabana Beach hums with devoted locals queuing for pastries that transcend the old-style vanilla slices of yesteryear. Sourdough loaves have a juicy, salty burst of olive; specialty breads such as cheesy fougasse with slashed crusts are almost too pretty to eat, while the cauliflower, almond tahini and chilli peanut pickle bun is a meal in itself. Gingerbread comes in a jar and customers can take away their chai tea in pottery mugs on an honour system. There’s also an outlet on The Entrance Road, Long Jetty, and the visionary concept of Burnt Honey’s operators, Jo and Hayley, stands tall in an era of bland bakery chains.
