Take a lovely stroll through the trees to learn about all that Virginia forests have to offer. The grounds are well maintained and there is also an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. Also this is a great place to take family photos.

The Orland E. White Arboretum designated the State Arboretum of Virginia in 1986. A peaceful and beautiful walking tour showcasing hundreds of species of vegetation.

For our plant lovers, gardeners and birders, the State Arboretum is an easy 30 minute drive west from our farm near the Appalachian Trail. There are exhibits and miles of trails to explore and, of course, hiking sections of the AT for the more adventurous.
